Stress management, time management coaching

While much of the stress coming from the outside world cannot be avoided, we do have control of how we react to it. Although work and life schedules may be getting more hectic and busy all the time, we still have influence over how we structure and manage our own time. And though times may be challenging, perhaps even chaotic, we still have ways to positively impact our overall wellbeing. These are the premises of this coaching journey, which aims to take you through a process of finding ways to achieve balance, calmness, and hence sustainability in your life.

Employers – having realized how enormous the negative impact of stress-related diseases and absences on their finances and productivity is – have been investing a lot into stress-management training and time management training, to help their employees maintain a level of work-life balance and avoid burnout. While these trainings are great, they are also somewhat limited in scope. In short: trainings train general tehniques (often inadvertently even increasing the pressure on you to use them), many of which can be useful for some but not so useful for others – simply because all humans are different, they have different triggers and challenges, different coping mechanisms, etc. and one tool may be great for one person, but not at all for the other. Stress management and time management coaching, on the other hand, will facilitate your process of finding the approach that works exactly right for you, in your situation, with your specific challenges. For this reason, this journey will enable you to find your very own way of bringing more balance and wellbeing (and very often, boundaries) in your life – and because this solution is yours, you are also more likely to succeed in implementing the planned changes in your life and also maintaining the new habits you commit to.

This coaching journey invites you to find your own ways to best adapt to the unique challenges of your own life with the aim of ensuring balance, calmness and a general sense of wellbeing. In this process, you will work with self-reflection tools to truly understand yourself, your challenges and trigger points, then you will be discovering various tools to find the ones that are exactly right for you in developing your own approach to wellbeing. Throughout the process, you will also learn simple relaxation techniques and will also be practicing mindfulness to help you discover the technique that you are happy to use in the long term, to learn to manage everyday stress and anxiety.

This stress management coaching journey is for you, if

  • If your stress- and anxiety levels are generally high in the everydays, whether in your work or other areas of your life. And especially if you have been experiencing some of the stronger / physical symptoms such as fogginess, fatigue, etc.

  • If you feel like you are spreading yourself too thin and taking on too much, if you are unable to maintain boundaries between work and others, or are experiencing general challenges of prioritization and time management. If previous attempts at time management have failed, especially due to challenges establishing and asserting your boundaries. If saying NO feels like a major challenge.

  • If you consider stress management and time management as part of an overall preventive strategy, wanting to ensure your health and wellbeing in the long term.

  • If you would like to establish a new routine or simply learn some techniqes to help you keep calm and balanced in the everydays.

The journey you will take

In this process, you will explore your day-to-day challenges in-depth, and will then try and use methods to enable yourself to manage the stress that comes with those. Approximately 30% of the time will be spent training the techniques, and at least 70% of the time will be a facilitation of your own process. Through the 1to1 sessions as well the homework and fieldwork assignments, you will create an approach and a plan of action that feels genuinely right, that you are happy to commit to and create lasting behavioral change. The journey will include:

  • Explore what's truly happening in your day-to-day. Discover your inner triggers and challenges.

  • Clarify & fine-tune your goals: what does balance and calmness look like for you?

Grounding yourself

  • Identify your inner strengths and resources that you can safely build on.

  • Learn relaxation techniques, anxiety and stress management tools. Learn to observe your own narratives from a safe distance.

Finding the path

  • Define your plans, strategies, and courses of action based on what is exactly right for you and your situation.

Taking action
